Corrections, questions, and data requests

Name Legacy is run by one person. Email is the only channel, and it is read.

Worth writing about

A figure that looks wrong
A name that is not a name
A different cut of the data for a story
Anything broken on the site

Corrections

If a number here is wrong, say which page and what you expected. The underlying SSA files are public, so a disagreement is usually resolvable by pointing at the same rows.

Some apparent errors are in the source data rather than this site: the SSA files contain placeholder entries such as Unknown and Baby, and older records truncate long names. Those are filtered out here, but if one has slipped through, it is worth reporting.
